Belarusian-Uzbek Agrarian Forum starts in Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - On 25-26 February 2020, the Belarusian-Uzbek Agrarian Forum is held in Tashkent. The organizers are the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus and the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The idea of holding the event received active state support in Uzbekistan. The partners of the forum are the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Republic of Belarus.
The NAVRUZ Reception House hospitably opened the doors for interested producers and processors of agricultural products of the two countries, as well as representatives of retail, Uzbek and Belarusian wholesale buyers, suppliers of equipment and technologies, investors, design and scientific institutes, and industrial universities. From the Belarusian side, 150 delegates representing more than 80 enterprises and organizations are taking part in the forum. The estimated number of participants from Uzbekistan is 600 people.
60 Belarusian and Uzbek enterprises present their export opportunities in the framework of the exhibition exposition of the forum. The focus is on the best developments in the field of agricultural engineering, livestock breeding, design and construction of dairy farms, vegetable storages and processing industries, to share experience in energy efficiency and resource conservation in the production of meat and dairy products. Food industry enterprises will present their most promising export products to the court of professional tasters.
The format of the forum also provides for direct B2B negotiations, where representatives of retail, restaurant and hotel business, wholesale companies, farms, and production companies are interested parties. To make them as effective as possible, a lot of preparatory work is being done.
Participants on both sides indicate a great interest in developing cooperation, a desire to find new customers and establish long-term partnerships.
