Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Aktau (Kazakhstan) reported that on 11 February 2020 in Aktobe region, the bus traveling along the Samara-Shymkent route, with 20 passengers of Uzbekistan among its passengers, failed . The embassy of Uzbekistan in the city of Nur-Sultan confirmed the information circulated in the media that on 12 February, a minibus, in which 19 passengers were citizens of Uzbekistan, stopped on the Kyzyl-Orda – Pavlodar highway in the territory of Pavlodar region.
In both cases, no one was hurt and did not need medical attention. With the operational assistance of the traffic police and emergency agencies of Kazakhstan, vehicles were repaired and continued on their way.
The Consular Law Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs once again draws the attention of Uzbek citizens to the need to take into account risks and take appropriate measures when entering, as well as traveling in the winter in Kazakhstan by bus or other means of automobile transport.
