No Uzbek citizens are among the victims of earthquakes in eastern Turkey

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Ankara said that the citizens of Uzbekistan are not among the victims of the earthquake in eastern Turkey, which took place on 24 January 2020.
The Embassy and Consulate General in Istanbul keep the situation under control.
As previously reported, an earthquake of magnitude 6.8 occurred in Turkey. Its epicenter was in Sivridge district in the province of Elazig. Rescuers continue to dismantle the rubble of three buildings. The region employs more than 3.4 thousand employees of search and rescue services.
The death toll during the earthquake in Turkey reached 22 people, and the victims - exceeded 1,100 people. This was reported on the website of the department of emergency situations and natural disasters of the country.
