Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The International Association of Scientists specializing in the integrated study of the Eurasian region - The Central Eurasian Studies Society (CESS) will hold the Seventh Regional Conference in Uzbekistan, Dunyo reports.
The Society of Central Eurasian Studies, an international organization founded in 2000, is part of the Elliott School of International Relations, which is a member of the Association of Professional Schools in International Relations (APSIA) and is ranked 34th in the ranking of the best think tanks in the world.
The agreement to hold this conference was reached during the meeting of the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the USA, Javlon Vakhabov, with the Director of the Institute of European, Russian and Eurasian Studies at the Elliott School Marlene Laurel.
The CESS regional conference, held every two years at the site of top universities in the region, attracts leading world scientists in the fields of economics, political science, jurisprudence, sociology, history and anthropology.
The main conference venue this year will be the University of World Economy and Diplomacy in Tashkent. The event, scheduled for June 2020, is expected to bring together over 300 Central Asian experts, researchers from leading think tanks, think tanks, and political strategists and business analysts from the US, EU, Russia, China, Japan, South Korea, and India. , Pakistan and other countries.
During the conference and the accompanying round tables, seminars, domestic scientists and experts will have the opportunity to exchange views on important issues of trade and investment in Central Asia, strengthen ties, integration development, and prospects for introducing successful models of regional cooperation.
Along with making recommendations on expanding trade and investment ties between Uzbekistan and leading technologically advanced countries, the conference will provide a platform for establishing inter-academic and research cooperation with leading universities in the world.
During the conference, several thematic sessions are planned. The conference is expected to organize cultural programs, as well as an exhibition-fair of unique products of artisans from Central Asia.
