Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - With the assistance of the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade, an expert from the Asian Development Bank, Mr. Mohamed Nasereldin Abouiyina, paid a visit to Uzbekistan to study the development of the textile industry.

During negotiations with an ADB expert, issues were discussed regarding the development of the production of synthetic fiber, including PET fiber and PP fiber. On the part of Uzkimyosanoat, it was reported that investment projects for the production of synthetic fiber are being worked out.

Following the meeting, a decision was made on bilateral cooperation in the framework of the development of production and the increase in the use of synthetic fiber in the textile industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
