Third Global Entrepreneurship Week starts in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN) is a year-round platform of networks, programs and initiatives aimed at creating one global ecosystem of entrepreneurship.
On 18 November in the capital under the motto “Learn! Give it a try! Develop!” began the traditional Global Entrepreneurship Week, organized by the Youth Union, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, the Association of International Business and Technology and other organizations.
The opening was attended by the Chairman of the CCI of Uzbekistan Adham Ikramov, the Chairman of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan Alisher Sadulayev, the Chairman of the Association of International Business and Technology Hikmat Abdurakhmanov.
The Global Entrepreneurship Week aims to assist entrepreneurs in launching startups, inspire young people to promote and implement business ideas in reality, unite global entrepreneurship practices, and consolidate all recommendations and suggestions for improving the business environment.
GEW’s main theme is the importance of education in business as part of the enterprise ecosystem. During this week, more than 30 events will be organized - discussions, trainings, master classes and other types of events. It is expected that, based on the GEW results, proposals will be formulated to further improve the ecosystem of entrepreneurship and business education, in particular.
The week will continue until 24 November. It will include business forums, discussions, online conversations, B2B meetings, dialogs, presentations with the participation of entrepreneurs, financial institutions, business associations, business people, professional students and other interested parties.
