Presentation of the culture of Uzbekistan in Gwalior
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - An international dance and art festival was held in the Indian city of Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, in which Uzbekistan took part as a partner country, Dunyo reported.
The festival was attended by more than 2,000 representatives of culture and art from around the world. Along with creative groups of foreign countries, such as Spain, Italy, Israel, Iran, Russia, Sri Lanka and others, representatives of various regions of India also made vivid concert programs.
The opening ceremony of the festival was attended by the leaders of the Gwalior administration, representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Delhi, cultural and art workers of India.
As part of the opening, a video presentation on the tourism and cultural potential of Uzbekistan was shown to guests, information materials and illustrated magazines telling about the history, culture and traditions of the Uzbek people were presented.
