Tashkent State Dental Institute to open a joint department in Kazakhstan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Tashkent State Dental Institute (TSDI) has signed an agreement with the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy on the organization of a joint department. It will begin its work in the academic year 2020/2021 at the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy, the training process will be based on a credit-modular system.
On the basis of this agreement, it is stipulated that the teachers of the TSDI will provide methodological assistance to teachers in Kazakhstan in organizing master classes and the educational process, help to conduct lectures and seminars, and also participate in the educational program of students.
This cooperation, the created modern opportunities are becoming an important step towards the training of qualified personnel, the widespread introduction of the best practices of world medicine in the field of dentistry, raising the quality of the dental service provided to our people.
The Tashkent State Dental Institute pays special attention to improving the quality of education, raising the qualifications of workers in the field, introducing widely into the educational process, together with foreign leading scientific and educational institutions, modern educational technologies, educational programs and teaching materials based on international educational standards, and expanding international connections.
In particular, it is noteworthy that over the past short period, the institute has signed memorandums of cooperation with about fifty reputable higher educational institutions and companies.
Starting from the academic year 2018/2019, studies at the Department of International Education have begun. In the direction of undergraduate studies, a joint educational program in dentistry was organized with the Moscow State Medical-Dental University, the Volga Research Medical University - medical business, the Orenburg State Medical University - clinical psychology, the Ternopol National Medical University - higher nursing.
And since this year, together with the Orenburg State Medical University, the direction “Clinical Psychology”, the Ternopol National Medical University named after Gorbachevsky Ukraine - “Higher Nursing”, and the Volga Research Medical Institute - “General Medicine” have been introduced.
Students of these joint departments, established on the basis of international standards, based on their areas, spend the first two years of study in our country and spend the final stages in collaborating higher educational institutions. As well as young people who graduated from these faculties, at the same time, they will receive diplomas from two universities.
