About 270 students to be admitted to the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2019/2020 academic year

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Presidential resolution “On additional measures to improve the training, retraining and advanced training of managerial personnel in the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was adopted.
In accordance with the resolution, starting from the 2019/2020 school year:
- management training at the Academy is carried out on a grant and paid-contractual basis with a one-year and on-the-job training for a two-year graduate educational program with the issuance of a state-recognized diploma;
- admission to the graduate and retraining courses of the Academy is carried out on the basis of competition through the organization of the initial selection of candidates in the field and the subsequent testing and interviewing;
-the requirements for candidates are approved by the decision of the President;
The distribution of graduates of the Academy to senior positions is carried out by units of presidential advisers.
The following admission quotas to the Academy for 2019/2020 have been approved:
- to the graduate course in the specialty "Public administration" with interrupting production in the amount of 90 people (of them, 36 people under state grants, 54 people on a paid-contract basis);
-in the graduate course in the specialty "Public administration" without interrupting production in the amount of 30 people (of which, 12 people under state grants, 18 people on a fee-contract basis);
-on retraining courses in the specialty "Public administration" with interrupting production (of them, 24 people under state grants, 36 people on a fee-contract basis);
-on retraining courses in the specialty "Public administration" without interrupting production in the amount of 90 people (of them, 36 people under state grants, 54 people on a fee-contract basis).
