Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – The Government of Uzbekistan established Westminster International School in Tashkent.
The governmental resolution defines the main tasks and directions of the School’s activities.
Among them are the identification, selection and training of gifted children, the organization of in-depth study of humanitarian, natural and exact sciences, the development of foreign languages and information and communication technologies by students, the creation of necessary conditions for the development of their creative thinking.
The school is a non-state educational organization, the educational process at the School is carried out in English according to the curriculum and programs developed jointly with foreign educational institutions.
Along with the state education certificate, graduates of the School receive a diploma of a relevant international level program (International Baccalaureate, Advanced Placement yoki International Advanced Levels), which provides an opportunity to enter leading foreign higher educational institutions.
The procedure and rules for admission to the School are determined by agreement with foreign partners.
Education in the School is carried out on a paid-contract basis, determined by the School.
