Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan consider border demarcation issues

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - In accordance with the previously reached agreements, a regular meeting of the Joint Uzbek-Kazakh demarcation commission was held in Jizzakh on 10-14 June 2019.
During the meeting, the parties continued to work on drafting the final documents on the demarcation of the interstate border, and also exchanged views on the implementation of field demarcation work on the Uzbek-Kazakh State border on the dried part of the Aral Sea.
Following the talks, the head of delegation, the first deputy chairman of the State Land Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Tulkin Abdullayev, and the Ambassador-at-large of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Zulfiya Amanzholova, signed the relevant protocol.
