Sixteen citizens of Uzbekistan poisoned with carbon monoxide in Karaganda

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to the information of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Kazakhstan, on 3 June 2019 at 00.15 in the city of Karaganda, the fact of poisoning with domestic gas of 16 citizens of Uzbekistan was recorded.
According to the oral data of the toxicology department of the regional medical center of Karaganda, where our compatriots were brought, the following citizens of Uzbekistan suffered:

-Husanov Sharip
-Tochkanov Alisher
- Nematov Bahadur
- Elbaev Odil
- Elbaev Farukh
-Tochkanov Shahzod
-Tochkanov Dastan
- Tochkanov Aibek
-Iskandarov Obid
- Sambek Azbek
-Husanov Egamberdi
-Maurutov Izzat
-Husanov Niyaz
-Husanov Kobonuet.
According to a preliminary version of the competent authorities of Kazakhstan, the incident occurred as a result of carbon monoxide leakage from a gasoline unit in a newly built house, where citizens of Uzbekistan carried out repair work. The victims were hospitalized with a diagnosis of “inhalation administration of household gas, including carbon monoxide, of moderate severity. toxicohypoxic encephalopathy.”
Of these affected citizens, E.Husanov, I.Maurutov, N.Husanov and K.Husanov left the emergency room due to a stable state of health. Law enforcement agencies of the city of Karaganda are in the process of investigating the causes and consequences of the emergency.
