Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Eight hundred students with special needs become guests of the holiday in honor of the International Children’s Day.
“On Children’s Day, we are organizing a special holiday for special pupils of preschool. Protection and well-being of the younger generation is the main task of any society. We understand that some children, due to their limited health abilities, need more attention and care from our side. Today, the Ministry of Preschool Education of Uzbekistan implements the policy of their integration into society. In April of this year, the first rehabilitation and educational institution in Nukus was opened and the first pre-school educational institution of inclusive orientation was created in Tashkent. These are only the first steps, the work to ensure equal access to quality pre-school education for all children of Uzbekistan continues,” said the Minister of Pre-school Education of Uzbekistan, Agrippina Shin.
The festive program included the distribution of balloons, music, dance, educational and creative workshops, photo zones with 3D objects and colorful installations, classes in robotics, competitions from animators with incentive prizes, riding on rides, sports games and meetings with Paralympians.
Activities were selected taking into account the age and characteristics of the development of each child. The organization of the Children’s Day was attended by 100 volunteers who, together with specialists in the field of pre-school education, constantly accompanied the children through the park.
