Memorandum of Cooperation signed between TMZ and MISiS
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 13 May, a memorandum of cooperation between the enterprise and the Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys (NITU “MISiS”) was signed in the field of personnel training on the territory of the Tashkent Metallurgical Plant (TMZ), being built in Tashkent.
In accordance with this document, the parties will carry out joint research programs, projects to create and master high-tech and resource-saving technologies, exchange scientific and technical information, innovative technologies and specialists to carry out industrial development, carry out research and development, and technological work. .
During the event, which was attended by the heads and specialists of TMZ and senior officials from MISiS and its branch in Almalyk, the issues of training specialists for TMZ were discussed in detail due to the unique production process and the latest equipment that will be used here.
TMZ is currently constructed in Uzbekistan. The plant’s capacity is 500,000 tons of cold-rolled metal per year, which practically will provide not only the needs of our country, but also the export of these products to the countries of near and far abroad. But TMZ laid the possibility of increasing production to 750,000 tons per year.
