Rainy weather is observed in Uzbekistan in April

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) – Rains of various intensity were observed in Uzbekistan for 10-15 days over the past period of April in the most part of Uzbekistan, except in the northern regions and Ferghana Valley.
Often there have been cases of heavy, and in some places very strong rain showers, when in a few hours more than half of the monthly norm of precipitation fell. In Baysun, for example, in less than two days almost 2 monthly norms fell out. In Tashkent in the afternoon 19 and at night 20 April (that is, per day) fell more than half of the April norm.
This rainy weather was due to the fact that throughout April over the territory of Uzbekistan periodically merge humid air masses of southern origin and relatively cool masses from the European territory of Russia. Such a merger created favorable conditions for heavy rainfall.
Heavy rains in April cannot be considered as some kind of anomalous phenomenon, because April is one of the wettest months of the year, but still such a wet April as this year is quite rare on average 1 time in 4-5 years. April 1990 was the wettest city in Tashkent, when almost 3 monthly norms fell in the Uzbek capital city in a month, with more than a monthly norm falling in 1 day.
This unstable weather in Uzbekistan will persist for two more days. On 23-24 April, it will rain in the republic, on 24 April there will be heavy rains in some places. From 25 April to the end of the month, no precipitation expected in Uzbekistan.
On 24-25 April, the air temperature will drop by day to 13-18 degrees, at night to 5-10 degrees, which is 5-7 degrees below normal. In the future, the air temperature will rise and by the end of the month will rise to normal values.
