Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As previously reported, on 20 April at 05:09 in Kordai district of Zhambyl region of Kazakhstan, a traffic accident involving a public bus, in which there were 49 passengers, took place at 181 km of the Shymkent-Almaty highway person. As a result of an accident, 11 people were killed, including three citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
On 21 April, at 4 am, the bodies of the three dead citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan were delivered by the Kazakh side to the border checkpoint “Gisht-Kuprik” of Tashkent region, where they were handed over to representatives of the Emergencies Ministry, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
After registration of the relevant documents, the bodies of the victims by special vehicles, accompanied by representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, were sent to Akhangaran and Kuyichirchik districts of Tashkent region for transfer to relatives.
The local authorities provide comprehensive assistance to the families of the victims in carrying out funeral events.
