MITC hosts meeting with the delegation of the KISDI
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Ministry for Development of Information Technologies and Communications of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting with the delegation of the Korean Institute of the Information Society (KISDI), headed by the President of the Institute Kim Da Hi.
The KISDI delegation arrived in Tashkent for consultations on the development of software parks and information technology parks. The consultations of the Korean side, envisaged for 2019, were organized within the framework of the ICT Development Advisory Program, implemented through technical assistance from the Ministry of Science and ICT of the Republic of Korea.
First Deputy Minister for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications Olimjon Umarov noted the relevance of the development of technology parks in the field of information technologies and the timeliness of studying South Korea’s best practices in this field.
During the consultancy program period, the KISDI consulting group will study the current status of development of innovative information technology parks in Uzbekistan, introduce Korea’s experience in this field and provide recommendations on the implementation of technology parks development policy in our country.
