Center for Contemporary Art to show the work of the classics of cinema
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Culture and Art Development Foundation under the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Garage Museum of Contemporary Art will hold the Garage Screen Film Festival as part of the pre-opening of the Center for Contemporary Art in Tashkent.
The festival program included five ribbons that will be presented to a wide audience at the site of the Center for Contemporary Art from April 14 to May 25.
The program of film screenings was founded by the Garage Museum in 2012 and since then the Museum team has selected iconic novelties, festival premieres and works by the classics of cinema to present to a wide audience.
In 2018, the Museum hosted the first Garage Screen Film Festival, designed to develop cooperation with various regional and foreign cultural institutions and to create free access to knowledge of modern culture for everyone. The selected five tapes, which will be presented at the Center for Contemporary Art, will tell viewers about the lives of outstanding artists and modern art figures, as well as films about various artistic practices.
