Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Uzbekistan Project Management Association (UPMA) has become a member of the International Project Management Association (IPMA). This gives the right to certify specialists in project management in Uzbekistan at the international level. Thus, certificates issued by the Project Management Association of Uzbekistan will be valid worldwide.
The presentation, conducted by the Uzbekistan Project Management Association, can be said to have revealed to us Uzbekistan as a country with great potential. There are a lot of positive trends in the country, and thanks to the support of the project approach in managing state projects by President Sh. Mirziyoyev, the country’s economy can come to a dynamic and rapid growth - said IPMA President Jesus Martínez Almela.
The International Project Management Association (IPMA) is a non-profit professional association established in Zurich (Switzerland) in 1965 to bring together project management specialists from different parts of the world.
The main goal of IPMA is to promote the development of project management competencies among professionals, project teams and organizations in all areas of creative activity worldwide.
Since 1995, IPMA has been developing its own 4-level certification system for project management specialists (model 4 LC).
Currently, IPMA brings together more than 70 national project management associations from all continents.
The Uzbekistan Project Management Association (UPMA) was created by the Republican Higher School of Business and Management named after Abu Rayhan Beruni under the National Agency for Project Management under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Innovation Center to support the development and implementation of information technologies Mirzo Ulugbek Innovation Center in January 2019 .
UPMA’s mission is to create a professional environment and create favorable conditions for the successful implementation of projects in Uzbekistan, as well as to train highly qualified project management specialists.
