Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Yildirim Enerji Holding A.Ş (Turkey) will take part in the construction of a combined-cycle thermal power plant in Surkhandarya region of Uzbekistan.
On 20 March, the Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistanand Yildirim Enerji Holding A.Ş signed an agreement Head Of Terms, the press service of the Ministry of Energy informs.
The First Deputy Minister of Energy of Uzbekistan Jurabek Mirzamakhmudov and Executive Director of Yildirim Enerji Holding A.Ş Mustafa Kurnaz signed the agreement.
The aim of the partnership project is the construction of a combined-cycle thermal power plant. The project will be implemented in Surkhandarya region. The power plant capacity will be 900 MW. The station will run on natural gas.
The company Yildirim Enerji Holding A.Ş works in Uzbekistan in the field of energy and chemical industry.
