Shavkat Mirziyoyev expresses his condolences to the family of Mirabror Usmanov
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 15 March 2019, a member of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a state and public figure Mirabror Usmanov died from a serious illness.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the house of the deceased and expressed condolences to his wife and children.
Mirabror Usmanov was born in 1947 in the city of Tashkent. For many years, he successfully worked in various positions in the fields of economics, trade and services. In 1994-2005, as Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, he oversaw the consumer goods and trade sectors.
During many years of activity in the Senate of Oliy Majlis, M. Usmanov with his wide knowledge and extensive life experience took an active part in the development of laws. As president of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan made a significant contribution to the development of sports in our country.
Many years of fruitful work of Mirabror Usmanov adequately evaluated by our state. He was awarded the orders "Mehnat Shukhrati", "Fidokorona Hizmatlari Uchun", "El-Yurt Hurmati" and "Dustlik", he was awarded the honorary title "Honored Mentor of Youth of the Republic of Uzbekistan".
The head of state’s personal expression of words of support for the family of the deceased has become another embodiment of the noble qualities inherent in our people, respect for those who have contributed to the development of the country.
Suras from the Koran and prayers for the deceased were read.
The President recalled the good deeds of the deceased.
- Mirabror Usmanov has known both difficult and bright days of our independence, he has done a lot for the Motherland. He did good to people as much as he could. There was a devoted family, country, state. Despite the state of health that has deteriorated lately, he tried to participate in all the meetings of the Senate, he was eager to be useful, the head of state said.
