The announcement of the State Property Committee of Uzbekistan said that 100% Ferghana Chemical Factory of Furan Compounds is offered for sale and investors should keep profile of activity of the enterprise. The starting price is set at US$37 million. The investor also should undertake investment obligation for US$2.6 million.

Ferghana Chemical Factory of Furan Compounds is situated in Ferghana city of Ferghana region Enterprise was put into operation in 1946. The main direction of the activity of enterprise is production cotton cellulose, furitol-107, furfural alcohol, ethyl technical, furfural-1st sort, bore reagent FXL-1, cotton wool.

The State Property Committee announced a tender on sale of the plant in November 2008.
