Traffic offenders to be fined via SMS

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Starting from 1 November 2018, a billing system for payment of fines for violating traffic rules will be experimentally launched in Tashkent. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan.
On 1 November, the Order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs “On payment of administrative offenses of road traffic in the city of Tashkent on the billing system” from 20 October will come into force.
According to this order, a billing system for the payment of administrative offenses will be launched in Tashkent.
“Administrative Practice” complex of an automated information system (KAIS) controls payments for an administrative violation of road traffic at the republican level.
Now using the “Administrative practice” of KIAS, using tablets and telephones, the users can get information about a traffic offenses online.
The traffic rules offers will not take licenses of drivers for violation of traffic rules, except the cases, envisaged in Code of Administrative Responsibility.
At the same time, information about the fine will be sent to offenders via mobile operators using the billing system in the form of SMS and through the Uzbekistan Post.
