Tashkent plans to build a network of hemodialysis centers

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A meeting with representatives of Progress Belgium sp.r.l. and Universal Medical Treatment LLC companies, who are planning to create a network of hemodialysis centers in Tashkent, was held in the Tashkent city administration.
The guests stressed that the issue of treating the hemodialysis diseases is a socially significant problem. There is not enough equipment and necessary medical centers. This is reported by the press service of the Tashkent city administration.
Based on its many years of experience, Progress Belgium sp.r.l. plans to create a network of hemodialysis centers at world-class standards using modern laboratory and diagnostic equipment and advanced methods of treating patients with various pathologies of the kidneys.
It was noted that such centers operate in Georgia, Brazil, in the UK, the project of creating two centers is being considered. There are already 40 hemodialysis centers operating in Russia, another 13 will open soon.
The meeting participants underlined that these centers will significantly reduce the burden on hemodialysis units, which are currently deployed in various state medical and preventive treatment facilities.
