Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Within the framework of the innovation week, the determination of the molecular profile of allergies in Uzbekistan is being carried out for the development of an innovative personal Passport of Allergic Sensitization.
The study is conducted using an allergic chip that allows to simultaneously detect 282 potential etiological factors of allergy. The first fifty free studies were conducted within Innoweek. As part of the program, it is planned to examine 1000 patients with allergies.
The Ministry of Innovation Development is implementing a program to develop a unique passport of allergic sensitization at the molecular level, in simple words - an allergy passport.
This need is caused by the growth of allergic diseases, in particular, asthma and anaphylaxis. Knowing what allergenic molecule there is an allergic reactivity of the body, one can predict the further development of allergic rhinitis and asthma, timely conduct adequate treatment, secondary and tertiary prevention of respiratory allergy. prevent severe food reactions.
The international consultant of the Ministry of Innovation Development, an employee of the Medical University of Vienna (Austria), Professor Victoria Garib, said that Innovative PAS (Passport of Allergic Sensitization) may become an integral part of the personalized medicine of the future. Every resident of the Republic of Uzbekistan will be able to have such a personal passport and the possibility of a molecular survey from January 2019.
