Prosecutor General’s Office: Abdulla Aripov receives minor injuries

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbek Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov received minor injuries in road accident, which do not require medical assistance. This was reported by the Prosecutor General’s Office of Uzbekistan.
The accident took place at about 9:30 of 20 August at 92 km of the Karasu-Buka-Bekabad highway. The Damas car driver Baktiyor Sayidov lost control and collided with the government cortege.
Deputy Prime Minister Alisher Sultonov fractured several bones and ribs, while office of the Office of the President, U. Kurbonov, received a closed fracture of the right forearm bone, while driver Rustam Tolipov received bruises.
Damas driver Saidov received minor injuries, while his passenger A. Meliboev also fractured his right collarbone
A.Sultanov, U.Kurbonov, R.Tolipov, B.Saidov, A.Meliboev were hospitalized and received necessary medical treatment. Tolibov was released after receiving appropriate medical assistance.
Prosecutor General’ss Office of Uzbekistan is holding a pre-investigation check.
