Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 2 August, the State Testing Center announced the results of entrance examinations to universities in Uzbekistan, which took place on 1 August 2018.
Deputy Prime Minister Aziz Abdukhakimov on his Facebook page reported that the exams on 1 August took place in 23 universities in 154 educational areas were held in 57 specially equipped buildings with permanent video surveillance.
About 58,985 entrants took part in the entrance exams. At the same time, according to him, 1393 entrants could not take part in the exams for various reasons, 255 people were suspended for violating the order of testing.
The highest passing scores were recorded at the Tashkent State Law University: for training on a state grant in the direction "Jurisprudence" (in Russian) - 223.5 and for paid training - in the direction "Jurisprudence" (in the Uzbek language) - 176.7 points.
Abdukhakimov noted that the average scores among applicants from all universities on the first day were 142.9 points on the grant and 123.7 points on the contract.
Entrance examinations to universities of Uzbekistan will last until 15 August.
