The Ministry of Justice hosts meeting with delegation of NSGI

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Deputy Minister of Justice of Uzbekistan Akbar Tashkulov met with British experts from the National School of Government International (NSGI) Alan Whaites and Leila Brosnan. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Justice.
The sides discussed and identified areas, in which the experience of the UK can help in the implementation of projects planned by the Ministry in the framework of the State Program for the Implementation of the Strategy for Action on the five priority development directions of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2017-2021.
Tashkulov said three priority areas in which the assistance of the British side is needed, in particular introduction of the Citizens Advice and Company House mechanisms similar to the British information and consultancy nature, and also the provision of assistance in improving the activities of the ministry by involving international experts to study the activities Ministry and the presentation of evaluation and proposals for its improvement.
In turn, representatives of NSGI thanked for organizing this meeting and expressed their hope for fruitful cooperation.
The British side shared the UK’s experience in the sphere of the state’s work with citizens and showed great interest in assisting similar projects in Uzbekistan.
Alan Whaites supported the initiative of the Ministry in attracting international experts to improve the activities of the ministry.
