Allocation land temporarily banned in seven district of Tashkent region

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Government of Uzbekistan issued a resolution “On additional measures to regulate the implementation of urban development in some settlements of Tashkent region”.
The decree approved a list of districts of Tashkent region, the settlements of which are included in the draft master plan. The plan is under development now.
The list includes Zangiata district (18 settlements in rural citizens’ gatherings (SSG), Kibray district (27), Tashkent district (6), Kuyichirchi district (1), Urtachirchik district (8), Yukorichirchik district (26) and Yangiyul district (1).
In this connection, it is banned to allocate land for construction to individuals and legal entities in these settlements.
Construction, reconstruction and re-profiling (as well as issuing permits for this) of buildings, structures and other facilities, including engineering and communications were also banned.
Determination of the ownership right to illegally constructed buildings, structures and other objects is also forbidden. But, this does not apply to cases of the granting of property rights on the basis of a court decision, as well as on the results of a continuous inventory of real estate objects of individuals and legal entities in the period 2016-2017.
Ban does not apply to construction of individual houses for standard projects in rural areas on the basis of relevant decisions of the President and the Cabinet of Ministers.
