Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree “On additional measures to stimulate exports and ensure the competitiveness of domestic goods in foreign markets”.
The head of Uzbekistan abolished export customs duties on all types of goods and licensed exports of goods, with the exception of specific goods.
Uzbek leader allowed enterprises of all forms of ownership, exporting their own products, to open overseas trading houses and offices for marketing research of foreign markets and advertising their own products.
The decree approved a list of items and products exported on the basis of decisions of the president or the government.
The list includes cattle, poultry, meat and edible meat by-products, grain (wheat, rye, barley, oats, corn, rice, buckwheat), flour, cereals, vegetable oils, sugar, bakery products (except pastry, pastries, cookies , crackers, toasts and similar fried products of own production), ores and tungsten concentrates, waste, scrap and scrap of polyethylene terephthalate (PET), tannery and fur and fur raw materials, cocoons of silkworm, raw silk and silk waste, scrap and waste of non-ferrous metals , as well as items of antiquities, representing significant artistic, historical, scientific or other cultural value (according to the conclusion of the Ministry of Culture).
The President also approved the list of items prohibited for import into Uzbekistan.
It included works of print, manuscripts, clichés, drawings, photographs, films, negatives, film, video and audio products, recordings and sound materials aimed at undermining the state and social system, violating the territorial integrity, political independence and state sovereignty, propagandizing war , terrorism, violence, national exclusiveness and religious hatred, racism and its variety (anti-Semitism, fascism), as well as pornographic materials.
