Funds were raised for implementation of the investment project for construction of a small hydro power plant at the Tuyabuguz reservoir, a cascade of small hydropower plants at the Big Fergana Canal, Kamchik MHPP on the river Akhangaran, the cascade of Zarchobsky MHPP on the river Tupolang with the supply of equipment from China.

The Export-Import Bank of China provided the loan for a period of 20 years.

In addition, Turonbank and Uzbekhydroenergo are currently preparing new projects for modernization and construction of existing hydroelectric power stations.
