Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An opening ceremony of the renewed centralized air conditioning system, operating exclusively on natural refrigerant, was held at the Republican Scientific Center for Emergency Medical Care (RSCEMP).
Within the framework of the project, two new chillers were installed in RSCEMA, operating on natural refrigerant ammonia (NH3).
Representatives of JOHNSON CONTROLS INTERNATIONAL spol. s r.o. from the Czech Republic took part in all stages of preparation, installation and commissioning of new ozone-friendly equipment.
The new system will be connected to a modern control system, which can be managed via Internet and allow to monitor the operation of the chillers remotely, at any time of the day in real time.
The total project cost of replacing the centralized air conditioning system is more than US$500,000, of which more than half is co-financed from the budget of the joint project “Initial Implementation of Accelerated Reduction in the Use of HCFCs in the Region of Countries in Transition – Uzbekistan”. The rest of the funds are financed by RSCEMA and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
