IUT and Inha University Hospital intend jointly develop telemedicine

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Inha University in Tashkent (IUT) and Inha University Hospital will cooperate in developing telemedicine and information technologies in the sphere of medicine.
Rector of Inha University in Tashkent Sarvar Babakhodjaev and President of Inha University Hospital Young-Mo Kim signed a memorandum of understanding.
IUT Rector Sarvar Babakhodjaev during his visit to Incheon visited Inha University Hospital to familiarize himself with its activities and hold negotiations with its management.
During the negotiations. Sarvar Babakhodjaev and Young-Mo Kim expressed interest in expanding cooperation between two sides on issues of developing telemedicine, consider opportunity to integrate private and educational sector to provide medical services to population with use of ICT.
The sides also will discuss issues of further expanding cooperation of Inha University Hospital with organizations of Uzbekistan under the auspices of IUT.
After the talks, Inha University in Tashkent and Inha University Hospital signed the memorandum of understanding.
Within the framework of the document, the sides intend to exchange information and hold joint researches in telemedicine and ICT in medicine, as well as organize trainings and exchange experience for healthcare specialists.
The sides will also cooperate in organization of academic conference and symposiums on telemedicine and ICT in healthcare sector.
