Bulgarian president starts state visit to Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Bulgaria Georgi Parvanov started his four-day state visit to Uzbekistan on Wednesday, 5 November. Mr. Parvanov arrived in Uzbekistan on invitation of the Uzbek President Islam Karimov.
Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyayev welcomed the Bulgarian President Georgi Parvanov and his spouse Zorka Parvanova at the Tashkent International Airport.
It is expected that President of Bulgaria Georgi Parvanov and President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov will hold negotiations. The sides will consider issues of further expansion of bilateral cooperation and regional and international issues of mutual interest.
On the results of the talks, the sides will sign several agreements directed to deepen mutual cooperation between Uzbekistan and Bulgaria.
It is expected that the leaders of two states will participate at the business forum with the participation of entrepreneurs of Uzbekistan and Bulgaria.
