Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev attended an opening ceremony of the international exhibition EXPO-2017 in Astana.
At the exhibition, more than 120 countries of the world such as Uzbekistan, Russia, USA, China, Germany, Great Britain, France, Japan, South Korea, Turkey, India, Vietnam, Armenia, Pakistan, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Cuba, Turkmenistan, Romania, Brazil are demonstrating their technological, scientific and cultural achievements.
The main theme of the exhibition is called “Energy of the Future”. The problem of energy consumption is one of the most pressing issues of concern to the world community. In this direction, the world community is carrying out effective activities.
The first floor of the pavilion of Uzbekistan covers an area of 630 square meters. Uzbekistan demonstrates use of solar, wind and water energy.
The stand of solar energy, which has a place in the pavilion of Uzbekistan, in practice demonstrates the possibility of charging cars by solar energy by 2030, which causes great interest among the exhibitors.
On the second floor, total area of which is 550 square meters, Uzbekistan shows itss successes in the fields of transport and logistics, tourism, food industry, winemaking and juice production, national dishes.
