Senate appoints envoys to Belgium, India and South Korea

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 27 May 2017, Senate of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan approved appointment of Ambassadors of Uzbekistan to Belgium, India and South Korea at the 10th plenary session, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.
Dilyor Hakimov was appointed as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Belgium. Prior to this appointment, he worked as Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan. He replaced Vladimir Norov at the post of Uzbek envoy to Belgium.
Senate approved Farhod Arziev to the post of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to India. Prior to this appointment, Arziev served as counselor at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Germany.
Vitaly Fen become head of the diplomatic mission of Uzbekistan in the Republic of Korea. In 1995-2013, he first worked as a charge d’affaires of Uzbekistan, and later the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to South Korea. Fen replaced Botirjon Asadov at the post of the Ambassador of Uzbekistan in the Republic of Korea.
