Earthquakes with epicenter in China shake Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Two earthquakes with the epicenter at the border area of Tajikistan and China shook Uzbekistan at 19:19 and 19:25 of 25 November.
According to the data of the European-Mediterranean Seismology Center, the epicenter of the earthquake was located at Southern Xinjiang. The magnitude of the first earthquake was 5.6 and the second – 6.3.
The epicenter was located 410 km away from Tashkent in the territory of China.
Power of underground tremors in Tashkent city was 3 points, Andijan – 3-4 points, Ferghana – 4 points and Namangan – 3-4 points.
Uzbek Emergency Situations Ministry said the earthquake was not felt in other regions. It added that there is no information on causalities or damages.
