Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan and Astrakhan region of Russia are planning to sign a bilateral agreement, directed at esolving issues of employment and protection of workers-migrants from Uzbekistan, temporarily working in the Astrakhan region.
A delegation of Uzbekistan visited Astrakhan region on 7-8 November 2016. During the visit, the Uzbek delegation held talks at various organizations of the regions. The sides discussed a number of topical issues related to the streamlining of labor migration of citizens of Uzbekistan on the territory of Astrakhan region and Russia as a whole.
The Uzbek delegation spoke about the positive experiences of cooperation on labor migration regulation with the authorities of Korea, Poland and Japan and proposed to establish similar cooperation with Astrakhan region.
Astrakhan party in turn informed about a special Internet resource “Unity of the people” available in Russia and abroad to find work for the citizens of CIS countries, functioning on the territory of the Russian Federation.
Following the talks, Parties agreed to sign a bilateral agreement aimed at resolving issues of employment and protection of workers-migrants - citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan, temporarily working in the Astrakhan region.
