Uzbek-Youth Innovation Center to be created in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbek-Youth Innovation Center will be opened under Tashkent State Technical University named after Abu Rayhan Beruni.
Interim President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyayev signed a resolution “On creation of the Uzbek-Japanese Youth Innovation Center under Tashkent State Technical University named after Abu Rayhan Beruni” on 19 September 2016.
The resolution said that the center will create favourable conditions for young scholars and students with modern, advanced and technologies of holding scientific researches, as well as training highly skilled specialists for economy of Uzbekistan.
Universities of Tsukuba, Nagoya, Keio, Toyohashi University of Technology and the Tokyo Institute of Technology are partners of the center.
The Center will develop innovative activities of young specialists and students, form conditions for young people to conduct researches, conduct joint experimental and applied scientific researches, etc.
The Governments of Uzbekistan and Japan signed the memorandum on cooperation in creation of innovative center on 25 October 2015 within the visit of Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe to Uzbekistan.
