Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Government of Uzbekistan approved a regulation on order of use of radio-controlled unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in civil and state aviations.
Uzbekistan introduced full ban for import, realization and use of radio-controlled unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the territory of the country. In May 2016, the Government allowed to import, realization and use of UAVs at necessity.
The new regulation set difference among toy, aviation models and UAVs.
According to the regulation, toy UAVs and aviation models without video cams and camcorders can be used in Uzbekistan without obtaining preliminary permissions.
All other devices, which are not fall to notion of toys and aviation models, will be considered as UAVs and the owners should obtain necessary permissions.
State Inspection of Uzbekistan on supervision of air security provides permissions on use of the UAVs in air space of the country.
Cabinet of Ministers issues permissions for flight of foreign UAVs in the territory of Uzbekistan.
