Uzbek leader approves international agreement

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov with his resolution approved an executive protocol to the agreement on cooperation within the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) in issues of returning under-ages to their country of residence from 7 October 2002.
The executive protocol to the agreement was signed in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, on 30 October 2015.
The protocol defines the procedure for mutual settlements between the parties at compensation of costs associated with the return of minors to their countries of residence.
The protocol said that the country of residence will cover expenses related to returning minors to home country.
Uzbek President set that Ministry of Interior Affairs of Uzbekistan is a competent body, responsible for realization of the international agreement.
President entrusted Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan to direct notification to depository on execution of internal procedures, necessary to enforce the international agreement and on competent body, responsible of its realization.
