Uzbekistan can increase export of fruits, vegetables to Russia

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan and Russian discussed issues of increasing exports of agriculture products from Uzbekistan to Russia.
First Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Russia Evgeniy Gromyko and Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Russia Sergei Levin held a meeting with the representatives of the state corporations of Uzbekistan.
According to the Ministry, the main topic of negotiations became issues related to increasing exports of agriculture products from Uzbekistan to Russia.
The Uzbek side underlined that Uzbekistan is ready to expand supply of its products to Russia and cover need of the Russian market in vegetables, fruits and tinned products.
Uzbekistan is ready to increase the volume of supply of wine and wine products to Russia. The Uzbek side expressed interest in importing Russian rice, fat and oil products.
Uzbekn and Russian officials agreed to consider opportunity to create the Uzbek-Russian working group on agriculture products. The group will become efficient mechanism of cooperation between ministries and departments and to develop cooperation between two states in agriculture complex.
