Tashkent introduces restrictions to trading with meat by-products

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Tashkent introduced ban for realization of meat by-products in pavilions and trade points without the freezers in summer period (from June to October).
Tashkent city governor Rahmonbek Usmonov signed a decision “On measures on ordering realization of fast perishable meat and meat by-products at dehkan markets of Tashkent city in summer period” on 18 August 2015.
In connection with the decision, the corresponding structures and administrations of Tashkent districts were entrusted to form working groups on ordering realization of perishable meat and meat by-products at dehkan markets (liver, intestine, stomach, kidneys, etc.).
The Governor also ordered to adopt measures to prevent illegal sales of meat by-products in undesignated areas, including areas outside the market.
Relevant bodies were also entrusted to carry out measures on cleaning and disinfection of dekhkan markets, their branches and objects in their territories in a systematic manner.
They were also instructed to ensure control over the timely passage of medical examination of workers and employees of the dehkan markets and objects, located in their territories, provide them special uniforms, etc.
Usmanov also entrusted the bodies to take the necessary measures for the installation of refrigerators in the trade points, specializing for the sale of meat, milk, eggs, salads and confectionery.
