Center for repairing composite airplanes to be launched in September

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan Havo Yollari (Uzbekistan Airways) is completing a work on creation of the center for repairing elements of constructions of the airplanes, made from composite materials.
According to the representative of the airline, the building of the center was completed. All necessary equipments for new shop were delivered and installation and assembly works started.
The airline expects that the center will be launched in September and will undergo all necessary certification procedures.
As earlier reported, Boeing specialists selected new premises of the shop in Tashkent from several proposed. It is expected that Boeing provided its recommendations on composition of the shop. Boeing representatives said that they want to help Uzbek colleagues to construct new shop in line with FAA and EASA requirements.
