South Korea and Uzbekistan work on US$2bn projects

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- South Korea and Uzbekistan are working on joint projects with total cost of over US$2 billion, RIA Novosti reported quoting official of the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investment and Trade of Uzbekistan.
The sides are working on projects in such spheres as water supply, healthcare, information systems with attraction of credits of Eximbank of South Korea and Economic Development Cooperation Fund (EDCE) of South Korea for about US$500 million, the agency reported.
The perspective projects were discussed at the negotiations at MFERIT with the delegation Ministry of Strategy and Finance of the Republic of Korea, headed by Deputy Director General of the Bureau for International Economic Affairs, Mr. Jin Ho Siyong.
