Almost US$102m to be directed to development of tourism in Kashkadarya region

Almost US$102 million will be directed to development of tourism in Kashkadarya region in 2013-2015, press service of Uzbektourism said.
Uzbekistan pays attention to development of tourism in Kashkadarya region and adopted a measures on further developing tourism infrastructure and expanding tourism services in the region for 2013-2015.
Representative of Uzbektourism in Kashkadarya region Uktam Hodjayorov said that the region has holy sites, unique nature, ancient monuments, which attract tourists. The region pays attention to creation more convenient conditions for tourists.
The measures are adopted at efficient use of historical and cultural heritage, preserving and restoring historic architecture monuments and museums, etc. The region works on construction of camping sites.
In line with the programme, it is planned to construct 30 hotels. Currently, several hotels were reconstructed in the region. It is also planned to launch several new tourism products and promote them abroad. The region launched a portal visitkashkadarya.uz.
