Russian company to deliver drilling equipment toNGMK

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A group of companies Perm Oil Machine Engineering Company (PKNM, Russia) won a tender on production and delivery of drilling equipment to Navoi Mining and Metallurgy Combine (NGMK), the press service of the Russian firm said.
The sum of contract is about 38.5 million rubles, the company’s statement said. It added that the Russian firm will produce 185unitsof products, which will be used in uranium mining.
PKNM said that it will supply heavy and drilling pipes, as well as turbulence promoter, used for improves movement of mud and drilling mixture.
Vladimir Jarennikov, PKNM director, said the uranium mining is difficult and dangerous technologic process. He said that PKNM and NGMK developed special drilling pipes, which have firm curve.
The company said that the drilling equipment will be delivered in February-March 2014. PKNM and NGMK have been cooperating for over four years.
