Uzbekenergo to construct high voltage line Ellikkala

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekenergo state joint stock company has been working on construction of new high voltage line in Karakalpakstan.
The project envisages construction of substation 500 kilovolt Ellikkala with high voltage line from Karakul substation to Ellikkala substation with the length of 365 km.
The project is implemented to ensure reliable electricity supply of electricity to Northern-western energy knot and full work of the capacities of Takhiatash thermal power station.
It will help to ensure electricity supply to population taking into account growing demand to energy.
According to the press service of Uzbekenergo, the project of construction of new line will be conducted along with modernization of Takhiatash power station in northern-western Uzbekistan.
