Tajik train derails in Jizzakh region

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A passenger train of Tajikistan, heading from Dushanbe to Kanibadam, derailed in Jizzakh region of Uzbekistan on 10 October 2013.
According to the Tajik editions, five cars of the train derailed in the territory of Gallaaral district of Jizzakh region.
The train was transporting 200 recruits, who have been heading to service point in north of Tajikistan and several officers of the Ministry of Defense of Tajikistan.
According to the reports, several people were injured in the result of the incident. All of them were hospitalized and soon they will be transported to Tajikistan.
The Government of Tajikistan created a special commission to study reasons behind the accident. According to data, error of locomotive driver can be reason for the accident.
Uzbekistan did not make an official statement on the incident.
