Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Germany’s Gebr Pfeiffer SE will supply equipment to production of grey and white cement in Uzbekistan, the press service of the Germany company said.
According to Gebr Pfeiffer SE, Dal Teknik Makina Ticaret Ve Sanayi A.S. (Turkey) placed an order for a Pfeiffer MPS 3350 B vertical roller mill for raw meal which is to be used for the manufacture of grey cement and white cement in Jizzakh region of Uzbekistan.
Gebr Pfeiffer SE said that the grinding plant is scheduled to go on stream in Uzbekistan as early as next year.
The mill is guaranteed to achieve a raw meal capacity of 200 tonnes an hour for the production of grey cement. When it comes to white cement, the mill will be capable of processing 160 tonnes an hour of raw material. The installed power of the mill will be 1700 kW.
In July 2012, AGMK signed an agreement with Dal Teknik Makina (Turkey) with the cost of US$97.6 million to develop working documentation of technologic part and supply equipment on “turnkey” basis for construction of capacities on production of 760,000 tonnes of Portland cement and 350,000 tonnes of white cement.
Within the project, it is planned to construct mine in Jizzakh region and construction of production infrastructures. Uzstroymaterialy joint stock company will render technical support to project implementation. The project will be implemented within two years.
The project with the cost of US$114.2 million due to loans of the FRDU for US$74.2 million and own resources of AGMK – US$40 million.
According to AGMK specialists, the plant will allow satisfy demands of the combine in cement and supply 200,000 tonnes of cement to internal and external markets.
